Iv replaced liners 2 perhaps 3 times in 10 years its a nice feature. It also doubles the steel and that makes the vac heavier. So that makes me wonder how they would be the same weight. That said 10 inch intake over 8 inch is a no brainer. 78.5 square inches is going to clog less than 50.24 square inches the 2 inch difference is huge.
